Unfortunately the old way of picking up the Jenkins title no longer exists. While it's possible to solo the new way at , it requires speedrunning a level heroic dungeon, while also having a resurrect ability.
In practice this limits it to a small number of classes, and even they'll need some pretty hefty gear. User Info: DontBeBooty. More topics from this board How do I get Pet's Hunter? The player of Leeroy Jenkins is a man named Ben Schulz. The Colorado-based player has been into World of Warcraft since open beta, and at the time was working as a repair technician for the industrial lighting industry.
Apparently, Schulz came up with the "Leeroy Jenkins" name as he had a habit of saying his signature line even when he was playing StarCraft with his friends. Interestingly, Electronic Arts actually offered Schulz a game testing position at the height of the video, but he declined. The character went mostly silent for several years after, reemerging as a level 70 in He also killed Deathwing, the primary antagonist of the Cataclysm expansion, in Thanks to the video's fame, even Blizzard recognized Leeroy Jenkins's actions.
As of Patch 3. However, players can only achieve this if they kill 50 whelps in under 15 seconds. Interestingly, this serves as a good way to train players how to eliminate mobs quickly in a raid. Players who manage to do this can get the "- Jenkins" surname added to their name. Ironically, Leeroy's player, Schulz, has yet to obtain the achievement associated with his name. Another achievement called "Leeeeeeeeeeeeeroy?
Blizzard carried on the fame of Leeroy Jenkins by actually creating an actual NPC based on the character. Clucker the chicken. To gain Leeroy as a follower, players should first resurrect his corpse in the Upper Blackrock Spire's rookery. Upon resurrection, Leeroy will make his way to the Son of the Beast, passing all the rooms with no regard for safety. What title are we talking about? That is how I got my title.
This one is still an actual achievement worth 10 points and if it's bugged then it happened after Oct which was when I completed it. My wife and I did the run last week. We got the spaulders and the garrison follower, but not the title or the achieve. Also, should I be able to solo this as an 80 Hunter. Comment by im a 65 hunter could i do it in a grupe of 3? Comment by Just a tip is to get a group of people in a party, one or two people that can get the eggs aggro and bring them back without dying, Someone that can tank or someone with a speed boost Something like a rogue Then get the rest of people to AOE the crap out of the area and make sure averyone has a AOE.
Comment by Did several runs with my guildmates to get them this title. As a blood DK, it's not tough to round them up and tell group to dps the crap out of them once they're all focused on me. AFAIK timer doesn't start until damage to whelps begins. Comment by behunter Ended up getting it solo. Just got to the room, hatched a bunch of eggs, then went around and pulled all the whelps I'd just hatched, then just one multishot and the title was mine.
Comment by point - if you have a low end computer and are going to attempt this, it may be a good idea to turn the graphics down looooow before starting, else the numbers are likely to crash your client. I'm level 85, I don't really have time to run an instance, so I figure I might as well get the achievement here, right?
Run in, kill the lower level mobs and work my way up to the rookery. I've done this with a couple of alts, but none of them where anywhere near as easy or awesome as with my Death Knight. You want to do it?
You can hit blood boil again if you want, but you probably won't need more than one hit with it.
